At the end of June, beginning of July, we had a team from the States who helped us with two major activities: VBS and an outreach in Pietrosita, a village close to Fieni. We had around 45 kids coming to VBS every day for four days. They learned wonderful things about God and hopefully, we'll see the fruit in their lives.

Pietrosita is quite a large village as it has around 5000 inhabitants. Our desire is to be able to plant a church there someday. That is the reason why we went there and shared the gospel with the people. We made teams of two people and walked through the village preaching the Word to the people that we met on the streets. Also, we left tracts and Christian CDs in every house. We hope that the Lord will use this and save people.

On July 20-21, together with other Heart Cry missionaries, we went to Oltenia and preached the gospel in two villages. This is the place where brother Marian J. works. It's been a great blessing overall. We got to meet receptive people that brother Marian J. will keep in touch with.

We had an interesting experience the second day in Florica. They already have a church there. Last time we were there, we had some problems with the mayor, he told us not to ever come back again. But this time, we had the opportunity to talk to the mayor's brother. While we were sharing the Word with him, the mayor came and started to be verbally aggressive. Brother Marian talked to him, giving him some very categorical answers which made the mayor get in the car and leave.  His brother  showed his indignation towards his brother's behavior. I noticed a great receptivity in this man and his wife. They invited us to come to their place whenever we visit their village. I think God opened their hearts and I hope the Bible I gave them will help them get to know the Lord.

I spent the rest of the time doing church administrative stuff and visitation to both believers and unbelievers.

I visited a family that is going through a very difficult trial. The wife, 38 years old, has lung cancer. They have three children. God opened their hearts to listen to the Word.  I pray that God will heal her body but mostly her soul.
