Vurpar Church, Sibiu

On July 4, am, I preached from Psalm 133. I emphasized the unity of the church - the body of Christ. I also talked about Paul's revelation and his repentance (Acts 9) with all its aspects: the unity of the head and the body and its members. On this occasion, we also had communion. The message was welcomed for its applicability.
Vurpar Church, Sibiu

On July 4, pm, I preached from John 20:30-31. The topic was "Jesus' divinity". I talked about his sovereignty in the miracles He performed. The message was edifying.

Sion Church, Sibiu

On July 1, I led a bible study from Acts 5: 1-16. The title was "spiritual pride". I talked about the consequences of lying to the Holy Spirit. The people got the warning from the Holy Spirit about our behavior.

Vurpar Church, Sibiu

On July 14, pm, I was involved in the following activities:

I led the baptism preparation study for five young people that are going to be baptized. We approached three major topics: the Bible, God, Man

I preached from Hebrews 11:1-6. I presented the biblical aspects of a faith in action. At the end, I was asked to talk about the Church, the body of Christ. A useful teaching for their church. This church doesn't have a pastor yet.

Philadelphia Church, Sibiu
On July 25, am, I preached about "Spiritual discernment". I used the following scriptures: Romans 2:1,2, Philippians 1:9-11, 1 Corinthians 11:23-32. I talked about the practical aspects we face when we need spiritual discernment and also about how we could help others understand the will of God.

Didactical Activities

Sunday School Teachers training
- the preparation of a training program for Sunday school teachers from Sibiu; it will take place on September 3-4, 2010, and we will have people coming from at least 6 other churches.

I read, underlined and made an outline of a book written by Tozer. I posted my thoughts about "Jesus is the Victor" on the forum.

1. We really appreciated his thoroughness in leading the Bible study, but also his compelling way of preparing the lessons. We realized how important the punctual guidance was, but even more, the importance of being part of the children ministry. I was personally edified in my spirit by the richness of God's Word, and by the fluency of his presentation.

2. "The demonstrative lesson along with the Bible study and the fellowship in prayer had a positive impact on me. It reminded me that a lesson did not only consist of showing some pictures and presenting the actual lesson, but it also takes time for preparation and prayer. We have to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us. The fluency and consistency of his speech made it very easy for us to understand the concepts.

3. I am glad I could attend the seminaries and get to know a special man who truly walks with God (like Enoch). I learned what discipline meant.
