God works in miraculous ways!

Adi Gliga was abandoned by his parents and grew up in an orphanage. He led a hard and challenging life there. When he turned 18 he ended up in the street and had to look for food in the garbage so that he could live. I am quoting Adi: "I had absolutely no reason to say that God was good by the age of 20!" Still, there came a time in his life when he heard the Gospel and his life totally changed. He is now involved in sharing the Gospel to all the people, especially to the young ones through his music and personal testimony.

God used him and there were many young people who came to the evangelistic event. His music and testimony had a great impact on many of them and they were definitely made aware of the blessings in their lives.

There was one particular girl who wanted to take a picture with Adi because they both had similar backgrounds that were full of hardships. She used to be abused by her father. Although she is only 19, she has two children.

Vox Domini Church - serving place

The church we have been attending for more that a year decided to split up and form another church. God gave the pastors the thought to plant another church. We are helping them with the missions and evangelization. Every now and then we get together and talk about our vision regarding the new church. We think of what we should implement and what God would want it to look like. That is the reason why we pray and fast because we want God to be honored by everything we do!

Working together in the student campuses

Along with the people from the church we do a monthly outreach at the student campuses. We also have a meeting with them in one of the dorms. We had such an event on March 14. The topic was Conflict Management. We had around 45 students who attended of which 12 were there for the first time. At the end we showed them the biblical way of settling a conflict.

The Student Ministry

The dorms are the places where students spend most of their time. We can never know what's behind the door. Although we always trust God and knock, we are still nervous.

Many times after two evangelistic discussions I feel physically and emotionally exhausted as if
I have lifted weights. There are times when I speak with five or six guys at the same time even
if just one of them filled out the form. There are times when I knock and a guy says
yes. But when I come in I see a girl sharing the bed with him. We no longer know where, or if,
there are specific dorms for men and women. Everything is mixed up. And you can imagine the
fiery discussions we have about sin!  Every student in our group has his/her own story. We're happy to lead this small group of students and take the Gospel to all the thousands of students in Timisoara. Our desire for each of them is to encourage them to "love the Lord with all their heart, all their soul and all their might, and their neighbor as themselves."

It's been sixteen years since Ani and I started to work with the students. During all these years, we have had many generations of disciples which were given to us by God that we would take care of and minister to.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

- For the health of my family members. Ani is expecting the results of some medical tests she took
- Flavius will start the tests and the high school entrance examination within three weeks. We pray that God will reward his work because he is working very hard.
- Pray that God will prepare our hearts for Easter for we need to have a loving attitude and hearts full of gratitude for the Lord's sacrifice and resurrection.
- We want to have an evangelistic event the week before Easter. We pray that God will touch the hearts of the students. It is easier to talk about Jesus and the meaning of His death and resurrection during this specific week.
- Please pray for ourselves to be able to stand firm for the Lord
- Pray for Vox Domini Church that evangelism will be a life style
