We had an evangelistic event at the church on March 6. We had invited quite a few people but only 10 of them people came. We had shared the gospel with most of them. Those that came were mostly people that we had been in touch with. The gospel was preached and as a result some of those people still come to the church.

After this event, we went on the evangelistic tour with the other HeartCry missionaries from Olenita, Pitulicea and Fieni. We went to Oltenia first over March 16-17. We preached the gospel on many streets there. We visited a few villages in the area such as Stoenesti, Comani, and Draganesti. We split up into teams of two people and each team was assigned a specific area to go and preach the gospel. I talked to many people and gave them Christian literature.

Each of us had interesting experiences during this evangelistic campaign. People are mostly uninterested when it comes to eternity. Most of them don't believe in life after death. I met quite a few people with whom I talked about this particular thing. One thing that I realize is that only when people are convinced that there is life after death, judgment, either reward or eternal punishment, that they'll be interested in getting right with God. I found two people who were willing to talk more and got their contact information. The local missionaries are going to visit them.

We decided that the next evangelistic campaign would be on March 30-31 in Fieni. Therefore, we all got together two weeks later in Fieni. Unfortunately, Geoge S., the missionary from Oltenia couldn't make it. He was involved in a car accident on March 30 while he was coming home from a meeting with the mission team. His car hit a drunk man. The man died when they got to the hospital. Although George has been in shock, we praise the Lord that the police declared him innocent after the investigations.

In spite of this sad event, the whole team got together and went preaching on the streets of Fieni. God blessed us with special grace. We gave out many tracts and Bibles. We talked to people and felt encouraged many times. We met many new people that we will keep in touch with. We got their contact information and even set appointments with some of them. We truly feel that God could give victory. We have all been encouraged by the work God did through us.

I am very happy to tell you that more people have been attending our church lately. And I can see changes taking place in the lives of those who come, they started to live for God and give up their sinful way of living. We enjoy God's presence among us during the church services. God touches the hearts of people as many times I see tears in their eyes. Praise Him for what He is doing here!

We have managed to finish the first floor of the church building. We want to have a room for children so they will no longer disturb the church services.
