I am excited to announce that I officially began the ministry in the city of Brasov where God called me to establish a new church and Lord willing, the mission center for HeartCry in Eastern Europe.

I began to look for a place to rent for meetings and a home for my wife and me. House hunting was interesting because I met lot of people including agents from different real estate agencies. They drove me around to show me houses and apartments which I used to share the Gospel with them. It was quite an amazing experience to have such an open door. Pray for three of them that seemed to be open for further discussions: Albert, Adriana, and Dan.

A good deal of the time of this month I went with missionary Alex P. on campus to witness to the students. We went and knocked on the doors in the dorms and engaged the students from Transylvania University in discussions.

What I feel is that the generation of the students of today is so captured by cyber-space that they do not know how to live in the real life. There is much immorality and unbelief among them. However, some of them are open for the Gospel.

I went from Brasov to Bucharest to pick up two Romanian Brothers that came from Barcelona, Spain, to visit the mission at Ramnicu Sarat. One of them was my former class mate at Univeristy and he is now a minister in Barcelona among the Romanians. My goal was to introduce him to the ministry in the area of Ramnicu Sarat and suggest that the church in Barcelona would partner with this mission. They agreed to come with teams to do evangelism and support missionaries if the Lord would bring men into the area for ministry.

The last week of the month I went back to Brasov where I continued to look for a place to rent and do ministry on campus. This dynamic of the ministry on campus makes me to feel God's blessing in my life. I am blessed to take the Gospel to these lost young people and challenge them to reevaluate their lives.

One of the most important meetings that I had this past month was a meeting with the Gypsy missionaries. HeartCry supports six Gypsy missionaries that have planted churches among the Gypsy communities. It was a time of evaluation and spiritual edification. I was encouraged to hear their testimonies and the needs that they have in the ministry. Pray that the Lord will provide for the various needs they shared with me.

Another trip that I took this month was in the Republic of Moldova. I went to visit the two teams that we have in this country. In the last two years I was not able to pass the border, because the Communist government had closed the borders and only with a special letter through the government was it possible to go. Obviously nobody would have given such a letter. So, for the last two years I was not able to visit any of these missions or missionaries.  In His mercy He removed the Communists that created fraud in the elections. Now a new and interim government has been formed and this government looks upon the Romanians with favor.

I went to visit the churches and missionaries and preached God's Word in a baptismal service. When we have baptisms it is such a celebration! We invite many people and the relatives of those who are baptized. It is an event with a clear evangelistic connotation. There were five persons baptized that day. What a grace!

Following the baptism, we had a meeting with all the missionaries from Moldova, in which we discussed ways of working for the advancement of the Gospel in the Republic of Moldova.
Pray for Moldova. They need workers and support to help the existing missionaries.

Please, continue to pray for the ministry in Eastern Europe. We need prayer support to establish the new ministry in Brasov. Pray for a good place for meetings, the resources and the courage to proclaim the Gospel. Until we can form a church we will have to speak to thousands and thousands of people. Pray for the team that will come together to plant the church. Also pray that we will find the property to purchase for the development for the HeartCry center for Eastern Europe. This is a good time to purchase land as the properties are cheap and the construction material is not very expensive. This center will provide theological and missionary education for men and women that are called to serve the Lord in ministry. Pray that God will bring this vision to reality.

I thank God for all of you that give generously to the ministry in Eastern Europe. We can see the faithfulness with which you sacrifice for the cause of the Gospel.
