The Lord helped us to bear good witness for the Lord in February.

We had much snow at the beginning of the month. That caused our ministry to be somehow limited to the people I already knew.

I continue my work of counseling and fellowship with the church members. I do my best to meet with them on a regular basis, especially with those who are new in the faith and the ones that are not that strong. I do that because I want to get to know each of them better so that I can know their struggles and be there for them. When we get together, we usually study a little from the Bible, trying to understand the teaching of the specific text. I encourage them to apply it to their own life. I work with the people from our church so that I can use myself as an example.

I took some time to visit some of our friends. I realized some of them wanted to talk about God but they didn't want to come to church. My plan is to have Bible study groups in homes for a while. I am going to approach the most important topics of the Bible. My desire and intention is for these people to get closer to God and the church. I hope I'll be able to start this in March with the first group made up of men only.

Marius B. is 35 years old. He is very respectful and friendly, but not when it comes to repentance. Many times I told him he needed to repent of his sins and whenever I shared the gospel with him, he rejected it. A few times I had the opportunity to help him with a few administrative things. He appreciated it and started to open up. He is being haunted by his past. He has a very distorted way of thinking. Last time we met he tried to tell me a joke. I realized it was inappropriate, so I stopped and reprimanded him. A few hours later, when I saw him again, he apologized for what had happened. He told me he felt more guilty than ever. He seemed to be a different man and listened carefully to what I told him about God. I hope that something changed in this young man. He is going to be in the first Bible study group. He's come to church a few times already. After the church service last Sunday, he went back home and shared the sermon with his family.

Elena is about 55 years old. She started to come to our church last summer and many things changed in her life. She is very sick. One of her most serious problems is that she heard a noise in her head every morning for a few hours. Marian and I went to her place and during our fellowship, we prayed for her healing. The second day she told us the noise was completely gone. We were very happy and praised God for listening to his servants' prayers. We can say He does great things among us.

My family has been through a trial this month. My wife, who is seven months pregnant, had a stomach problem. She had to undergo surgery. After that, she hasn't been able to eat for a few days and has felt dizzy. We cried to the Lord and He listened to our prayers. Mariana is well now. We hope the baby is healthy and pray that the anaesthesia and antibiotics did nothing to him.

At the end of the month, we started to work on the upper level of the church building. We want
to have a room for kids there. The next project will be in Fieni on October 6-7.

As usual, I was involved the rest of the time in finishing the church and visiting people. I visited people from the church and other people who are open to know God. We started to build the foundation for the fence on the left side of the church. We also brought a truck of gravel and spread it throughout the backyard of the church. There will be no more mud. It is very beautiful now. We would like the non-believers to see that we are interested in making the church a pleasant place. We want this thing to bring glory to God.

Another part of the time was used for visiting several people from the church. I encouraged them to stay close to the Lord and to serve Him more.
