At an evangelistic event, I can mention something we had for young people. Seven unbelievers came. As a guest speaker, we had a young man who had AIDS. His testimony had a great impact on the young people. At this moment, almost all of the seven people who came to our church for the first time are in touch with the youth from our church. Some of them are still interested in coming again. Let me share with you a few testimonies: After the above-mentioned event, God allowed me to get more involved in the life of a young man named Alex (23 years old). I first met him when he was 14. He left to go to Spain. But after a while, he lost his job there and so he had to come back home. I think this is God's timing for him. I shared the Gospel with him and we decided to study the Gospel of John once a week. Alex is very much attached to the world. He is sort of a leader in his group of friends (he has many of them and it is possible that the Lord will work among these people). I pray that Alex will be saved and be just like Philip for Nathaniel (his friends) There is another teenager, Ionut, who started to attend the Bible study every Wednesday night. He is a classmate of Solomon's, a boy from our church. He is a senior in high school. It is amazing to see the testimony that Solomon has had for three years. This boy has been interested in the Christian life of his classmate and they talked about God many times. Ionut started to read the Bible and attend the Bible study meetings. He hasn't come to church on Sundays yet because he doesn't live in Pucioasa but in a village, and he goes home on weekends. We pray that God will continue to work in this boy's life and his family's too. In the previous report, I told you about the husband of a lady from our church. Mr. Vasile keeps attending our church. I think God is doing a wonderful work in his life. It is so good to see them come to the church together as a family. It is a great encouragement for the people in our church, especially for the ones who's spouses are not Christians yet. God answers prayers. Many ladies in our church keep praying for their unsaved husbands. May the Lord bestow His mercy upon them by answering the prayers for their loved ones. Regarding the ministry here, we split up the people in three groups of Bible study. We have one group meeting at our place, one at Alexandru's (my minirty co-worker), and the third group, the young men, at church. We already have unbelievers attending two groups. This is also a good thing because other leaders as well can be involved in the ministry of pastoring the community. The music ministry has a new approach lately. There are ten more people that are taking mandolin lessons, five kids and five young people. The orchestra represents another opportunity for us to serve the church better. Many times I've seen God shaping the character of the orchestra members by touching their hearts. When people serve, God reveals Himself! The relationships we have with the unbelieving families of the children are strengthened. This way, God impacts our neighbors.
