With the Lord's help we started this year and it has been my most blessed year. There were many souls who were saved. Since December I noticed a great opening for the Gospel in the mission area. Also more of those who I had visited came to church. Therefore, we started the new year with an evangelistic campaign. We visited those who started to come to church including the members' relatives. At the end of the month, January 29-31, we had three evangelistic events in the church. The first evening around sixty people came, twenty of them for the first time in our church. The Word of God was proclaimed by brother Ivanica O., pastor in the Emanuel Church in Alexandria. The second evening around one hundred and fifty people came and most of them were non-believers. During the program the Christian band from Tantarei worshiped the Lord through their songs. Brother Bintescu M. from Emanuel Church in Giurgiu delivered the evangelistic message. That evening eight souls gave themselves to the Lord. They received the Lord as their Saviour. They had attended the church for some time and knew the Word of God. I personally believe they will continue to follow the Lord. The third evening around eighty people came. The Word of God was proclaimed by brother Moise M. One soul came in front of the church and received the Lord. Also another seven people made a committment to the Lord during my visits before those three evangelistic events. Last year I had three objectives: edification, evangelism and discipleship. Edification - communication with the members, weekly Bible study, visits, and a Sunday Bible study.
