Through God's grace we stepped into the new year. We are grateful to the Lord for being next to us all these years. It was a time when we asked ourselves, "what's life?" Life is a gift from the Lord that He gave us to enjoy, cherish and not forget we are pilgrims on this earth. This time of the year the Lord taught us that we were privileged to have Him in our hearts. No matter what may happen we have our eternity insurance paid off with His blood. We also learned that "Sharing the Gospel with those that don't know Him is a privilege."

Prayer Time with the Students at Our Place

Being an exam month the students enjoy leaving their rooms where they learn all day. Therefore we thought of having the prayer time at our place. It was a joy being together and worshiping the Lord! Some of them took all their exams, others still have another week to go. We prayed to the Lord for their victory!

The Lord is Doing Miracles

It's a miracle when a person accepts Jesus as Lord and Saviour. For us it's a great honor and a privilege to witness such miracles. Ana-Maria comes from a Christian family. She joined our group a few months ago. She has a special heart and loves people. God uses her among her schoolmates. Irina is one of them. She accompanied Ana-Maria to our meetings several times. They also went to church. Another thing is that one of Ana-Maria's roommates started to read the Bible.

Ana-Maria is a testimony and an example for her colleagues. She is not ashamed being a Christian and shares the Gospel with her schoolmates. Please pray that the Lord will raise her spiritually and will keep her fervent for Him!

Adriana studies medicine and is in her second year. I met her in the beginning of October when we gave out the evangelistic magazine. After a while I called her and she started to attend our meetings. I talked to her about God. The Lord is working in her heart, but for now her faith is just feelings and intellect. She is close to God's kingdom. Please pray for her. Before Christmas we went to a Christian carols concert at the university. She enjoyed it so much that she called her mother to listen to the carols through the phone. Some of the students of the choir delivered their testimonies and in the end there was an evangelistic message. Please pray that the Lord would touch her heart, and she would accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

I met Oana in the fall when we gave out our evangelistic magazine. She filled out a card, mentioning that she wanted to talk about God. So when we met I went straight to the bottom of things. She had an open heart and after sharing the Gospel she wanted to receive the Lord. It was a surprise to find out that her mother was an evangelical. Actually most of the students who I talked to this semester had evangelical relatives or friends. We see that the Lord hears their parents' prayers. Praise Him!

The Church, a Blessing for All of Us

As we already wrote you, we started an evangelism partnership with "Vox Domini" church. Once a month we meet with several ladies and men from the church. We pray, read the Bible and then go on campus. This past Sunday we formed fifteen teams and the Lord gave us victory. We all have been encouraged as the Lord gave us power to proclaim the Gospel. We also challenged three more churches to start evangelism partnerships on other campuses in Timisoara. Now we are praying for the Lord to show us His will for the next semester. Please pray for a good collaboration with the churches.

THE GOSPEL'S IMPACT IS LIKE AN ATOMIC BOMB

Claudia is Cosmin's sister. We wrote you about him on our last report. Claudia was a special disciple and it was a great blessing working with her. I learned a lot from her. Claudia has a great love for the lost. She is a house physician and will become a family doctor (as her brother). She does everything for the Lord. Claudia loves evangelism, God's ministry and is a testimony wherever she goes. Please pray that the Lord will strengthen and give her victory in everything that she does.

SPIRITUAL UPHEAVELS EVERYWHERE

What can the Lord do in a secular and materialist world? God can transform each Christian into a missionary and a preacher. Each home can become a congregation where people look to God and worship Him. We need to understand the urgent opportunity that we have. In a world where people digress from God's values, we need to have more "spiritual fires" where people can receive the light. This was the subject of the conference for pastors and missionaries from Eastern Europe and Russia. The Lord encouraged us. We met wonderful people and found out how the Lord worked in their nations as well.
