I delivered a sermon based on Luke 4:14-21 on the 1st of January in the morning. The title was "The Proclamation of the Gospel". Since there was a reaction in the church because of some members' behavior I emphasized the biblical solution for these situations in my sermons. I hope this problem will be solved and those members will be able to join us at the Lord's Supper.

Bethany Church, Sibiu

I delivered a sermon based on Luke 4:14-21 on the 1st of January in the evening. I emphasized the Lord's authority to deliver us from anger, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me... to preach deliverance to the captives...". I also had a Bible study according to our schedule on January 28, in the evening. The subject was "The Church - Christ's bride" from Ephesians 5:15-33. I emphasized the church's honour and responsibility in this century.

The Church in Racovita, Sibiu county

On the 3rd of January I preached from Romans 8:28-30 - "The Security of Those Who Love God", in the morning and from Matthew 11:25-30 - "Meekness and Rest", in the afternoon. I praise the Lord that the people from the church paid a lot of attention to the Word.

Sion Church, Sibiu

On January, 27, I had a Bible study from Ephesians 5:15-33 in the afternoon. The topic was "The Church- Christ's bride". The church asked me to be again in charge of the Bible study. They still don't have a pastor. I have accepted until they have a pastor.

Didactical Activities

As a principal of the Sunday school teachers College I closed the 2008-2009 school year:

- I organized the students' grades
- I made out the students' registry book
- I filled out the students' diplomas.
I will get the signatures of the Baptist Institute's president and the Baptist Union's president by the end of February. Then I will go through the proper channels for the students to take their diplomas. From the students' grades I saw they received a good education. I believe they will be efficient in the children ministry.

Activities within the Equipping and Edification Program

I studied the book The Biography of A. W. Tozer. I read, underlined and made an outline for the first 9 chapters, pages 1-99. I also posted my answer on the forum for given topic from What's So Amazing About Grace, the fourth part. My answer was entitled "Grace and Us, Us and Grace".
