I went with Ovidiu to visit Catalin and Rares. Catalin was Orthodox and Rares was catholic. We started a discussion about God. Rares told us, "It's not good to know too much about God. It's risky. I read the Bible when I was a child. I don't read it now. I don't have time and it doesn't have anything to offer me." Catalin was open to listen to us. For a while he seemed to be interested in the discussion. He was asking good questions. We thought he was understanding us. Then suddenly he got up and became hostile. He told us that he had to leave. I don't know if that was the real reason, but we started to feel that our presence was bothering him. I believe Satan stole his seed. During the discussion he was like a lamb, he started to realize his sins and why Christ had come. Suddenly he changed and rejected the truth. He received the New Testament that we gave him. Rares didn't received it.

Along with Mircea, who is a Christian student, we went to visit Paul. We talked to Paul in the hallway of the dorm. He was accompanied by some of his roommates who were laughing at us. Paul paid attention to the Gospel. At the end of our conversation, I asked him if he wanted to turn to God. At that moment his roommates called him. I felt that the evil one used them to divert Paul's attention from us. Therefore I told him not to listen to others who were going to deter him from turning to God. Later on, Mircea visited Paul again who had become indifferent.

Mircea had set a meeting with his schoolmate Remus. We went to visit him. There were three other students there. We told them the purpose of our visit. We started to share the Gospel. Suddenly Albert asked me, "What's your religion? Are you orthodox?" Mircea got scared. But God filled me up with His Spirit and gave me wisdom to answer them. I told them that I was a Christian and that God wasn't interested in our denomination. He was interested in our faith in His Son and living a holy life.

Another student said, "I witnessed an exorcism in the Orthodox church. A priest cast out devils from a person. Is there anything like that in your religion?" I knew what he meant. The orthodox people believe that the denomination that cast out devils is the real denomination. They believe that only the orthodox church has that power. Therefore, they are real believers. I answered using the Lord Jesus' words from Matthew 7:21-23. God wanted us to fulfill His will. I told him that Jesus Christ saved me, not my denomination. Religion creates walls and hate between people. Jesus Christ was the only one who brings people together. And that through His sacrifice for their sins. They believed they were Christian. So I told them straight that they couldn't be acceptable to God while living in sin. I told them that one couldn't live an immoral life and be a Christian at the same time. Albert said: "Why is it wrong to steal from a rich person?" I explained to him what God said in the Bible. All their Christianity was vanishing.  God had mercy on them. Albert continued: "I don't like the fact that you give out tracts for inducting people into your denomination." Another student added: "And you even pay money to people to join your churches." I told them, "It is true that there are cults that use this method. We don't want to have a church full of people who only play for their own hand. We stand against cults."  Then I turned to Albert and said, "If God will save you one day, don't you think you will love him more?  Don't you think you will share that with others? Will you give out tracts?" He didn't answer. Remus said, "Your Bible is different than ours, because you changed it." I said, "There are some cults that changed certain words, for instance the Jehovah's witnesses. Instead of the Holy Spirit they wrote an impersonal force." That discussion was long, but God showed them that they were sinners.

God gave me a great victory in controlling myself and answering them wisely. At the end I was urged to tell them, "Well, if I upset you in any way, please forgive me." They all said that everything was o.k. During my discussion with them I emphasized the fact that God didn't call them to a certain denomination, He was calling them to a personal relationship with Him.

A few days later a missionary colleague, Ionut, met one of those students in another room. He told Ionut that someone had already visited him to talk about God. And Ionut asked him, "And what do you think?" And he answered: "Should we really gave up our religion?" Mircea went to visit them again. And he cleared the issue on religion. The third visit he presented the salvation through Christ alone. Those students continued to have other questions. From my previous experiences I believe these kind of people don't really want to see you anymore.

I continued the Bible study with Silviu. He went home and read some verses on God and sin to his sister. His sister had been at loggerheads with her stepfather. After that she went to ask forgiveness from her stepfather. Silviu wants to talk about God with his father too.

We had an evangelistic retreat with the students from Sibiu and Bacau.

God works in Emanuel. He had been a relativist, but he started to believe that God existed. After the retreat, he said, "I enjoyed it very much. I saw there were young people living a holy life. I believed that was a myth before. I went on other retreats with other young people, but they were drinking and cursing. It was so nice here."

Ionut is another student and a rocker. He said, "I felt peace and quietness in my soul. I enjoyed the prayer time." This boy lives with another girl which isn't his wife, nor his girlfriend. Please pray for them that God will open their heart to believe the Gospel.

We organized a Christmas celebration. The message was divine as it really touched everybody, even the non-believers. Vali was a student who I had shared the Gospel with. He was so impressed by who God was. Dan felt the same way. There were around 10 non-Christian students. The Christian students organized the celebration.

I continued to serve in my church. I baptized my son Timothy and another student, Ana. It was a special experience for me to baptize my own son. It was also the first time that I have ever baptized.

I continued the family and youth meetings. Among the youth of the church there are some students who have gotten involved in our ministry. Alexandra is a student who turned to God through our ministry. She came to the baptismal service. Then she came to listen to my message on family life. She has a boyfriend who doesn't know God. Please pray for him, his name is Stefan. He came a few times to our meetings. He had graduated and had a very good job. He was open to talk to us. Cosmin is another student who had several discussions with us in the past. He started to come to our meetings again. Please pray for him too.

My wife and I wanted to broadcast the "Jesus" movie in our girl's kindergarten. The
headmistress refused us. She said that she was orthodox and that everything else was a cult.
Simona told her that we weren't a cult. God worked in her heart and she agreed on one
condition, that all of the parents had to agree also. Finally, they only accepted to offer the children some gifts. Simona put a book about Jesus Christ and a booklet in each gift. Everybody was happy for the gift and read the booklet. A student who was the governess's sister heard the Gospel from my wife.
