This past month was very encouraging for a number of reasons, but perhaps what springs to mind first was the mother and father of four boys who attend the house programs. The parents of the children expressed a desire to come to church.. The whole family have attended church twice. I pray that God will save them and encourage them to come to church more regularly.

One Saturday after a program, two twelve year old girls asked if they could stay behind so they could freely confide in private with me about some preteen concerns that they had. I helped them to understand their problems by asking, ''what does the Bible have to say?'' We spoke for sometime and prayed together for help in some of their personal issues. At the end of discussion both of the girls left with a bright smile on their faces and said, "we understand now, thank you for your time and for talking to us." Sadly, the two girls haven't return to the program because they were picked on at school and made fun of because they came to our programs. Please pray that God will continue the work in their young hearts. This is not so uncommon as there are at least ten more children who would love to come to the programs but they are fearful of what others may say or think of them. Undoubtedly, such attacks from other children is fueled by so-called mature, influential people in the local community who should know better.

We visited the church in the town of Buzau and one of its local villages called Pitulicea
to support the church there. The area had been visited by an American medical team a few weeks back. We went to visit those who had been helped by this service. The church hopes to use these new relationships to give people the opportunity to learn about the good news of Christ.

Also, back here in Comi I spoke to two women about Christ and one of them requested a Bible. I plan to see them again soon.
