Eastern Europe: Reports - Romania - Reports

The month of November was my last month of school at Southern Seminary. As I have been in Romania during October, much work had to be done in November! I had to catch up with some reading and papers, but the Lord has blessed me with so much grace that by the end of November almost all the work was done.

A particular ministry that I have been involved in along with school was the Transformation House ministry. It is a place where we try to recover drug addicts and people addicted to alcohol. There are about 30 men staying at the house that are under close supervision. We do Bible study with them most of the week days and Sunday we take them to church. I have visited them a couple of times at the house and tried to talk with some of the guys. One meeting was particularly a blessing for them when I shared my conversion experience under Communism and the time of persecution in my life. I hope that God touched their hearts. They seemed very moved, realizing what great privileges they have here in the States. I thank God for this time of ministering to these men during the fall semester.

Another good time of serving took place in Paducah, KY. I was invited by pastor Todd Brady to preach at the First Baptist Chruch of Paducah. As I had been part of the concert tour in Romania during October, the church celebrated their time of ministering in the Romanian churches. I have spoken a couple of times in smaller settings when I preached the Word of God in two services.

By the end of November I went to celebrate Thanksgiving in Lynchburg, VA, visiting my girl-friend, her family, and the New Hope Baptist Church. My intention was to speak to her parents and ask Trisha's hand in marriage. Everything went well, so the time for proposing Trisha gets closer.

I appreciate your love and support you send to the ministry of HeartCry in Eastern Europe. Continue to pray for us and for a great harvest in the countries that we minister for God's Kingdom.
