The ends of the earth are closer to us than ever. Hundreds of young people from Asia and Africa study at the Romanian universities. This is a great opportunity to care for the foreigners and help them understand the message of the gospel. For this very purpose we organized on November 7 an intercultural event for the students from Germany, Morocco, India, South Africa, Nigeria, etc. They had the opportunity to interact with one another and with Romanian students as well. It has been a wonderful time for everyone to make new friends and to exchange phone numbers. Our desire is for them to be the new generation of missionaries in their own countries. Lord, make them worthy of it!

Denis is from India. He is in his fifth year of college studying Medicine. He comes from a modest family, financially speaking. He works hard to become a good doctor. It's not easy to study in Romania as the instability of our country is felt in the university society as well. The tuition is about to become a lot higher than it used to be when he was a freshman. Denis is a leader for the international Christian students. He helped a lot with organizing this intercultural event.

Lisa is one of the first international students in Timisoara that gave her life to Christ. She got baptized in Vox Domini Church in Timisoara. She is already an intern doctor here. She can speak a little Romanian.

HAVING A PANCAKE WITH THE STUDENTS!

Two students from our group, Clarisa and Stefan, decided to get married last summer. We were very happy for them as both are a gift to one another. One night, they invited the group of students to their place for a pancake night. That was a good opportunity for us to invest in our relationships. People need to see our love in order to understand God's love for them.

Robert is taking his masters degree (1st year) in Polytechnics. He came to know Christ last year when we gave out new testaments in the student dorms. He grew a lot spiritually. He loves God's word and the church. He is a reliable person in everything he does. He's been involved in a project of the evangelical churches this Christmas. They are going to have a drama where he plays a Roman soldier. Robert is somebody who cares about other people who do not know God. He always participates in different activities we do in order to share Christ.

Fitzuica magazine in the Agronomy Campus!

As I have mentioned on other occasions, there are approximately 45.000 students in Timisoara. Some of them study Agronomics. Two more students who have a heart for the Agronomy students went to their campus to give out magazines and talk to them. Cristi and Cosmin, who are students, went to the University dean to ask for permission to do that. God has been good as they were granted permission.

Pray for the salvation of the Agronomy students so that Cosmin and Cristi will be encouraged to see God working in this place as well.

THE CHRISTMAS TREE

Decorating the Christmas tree is a great opportunity for us to invite students down to our place. We want many students to feel the warmth of the Christmas holidays and the very special love of family. It is something extraordinary as I felt God's presence among us through the joy in everybody's heart. Love, peace and joy is the Christmas message. I asked myself, "what should I be happy about?"  The answer came "because what we find in the Bible about baby Jesus Who was born in a poor manger cannot be wiped away". It is our hope in times of troubles and difficulties. God brought us hope. It is so close to us, all we have to do is let our hearts be flooded by it.

Pray for health and protection for our family.

-we thank the Lord for the spiritual growth we see in the hearts of our children. They are both doing well in school.
-pray for the new students to feel loved and accepted and for God to work in their hearts.
-pray that God will give us rest and renewed energy
-pray that God will giver us power when sharing the gospel
-pray that God will fulfill our spiritual and material needs

We thank you all who stay faithfully beside us in this ministry.
