God glorified His name in Alexandria and Rosiori as a few people gave their lives to Him through the preaching of His Word.

We made twenty evangelistic visits in November and were able to get in touch with about 100 people with whom we shared the gospel. We visited people that we had already met before. Generally, the Gypsies have great respect for God and they're very hospitable with the ones they know. Everywhere we went the people listened carefully to the Word of God. Some of them got very emotional and started to cry, but when we spoke about surrendering their lives to Christ, they came up with different excuses such as "if we repent, we'll starve to death because we'll no longer be able to steal. When I invited them to come to the church service they said they would come if the service hadn't taken place in a home. It a great hindrance for many people because the Gypsies are very reluctant to go into homes. It would be so much better for the ministry if we could build a small chapel somewhere.

I would like to say a few words about the salvation of a man who is sister Onorina's (our host) son-in-law. His name is Elvis and his wife name is Didina. They came to our services at the beginning of the month. He interrupted the service a few times just to create confusion and be stubborn. During a prayer time somebody prayed with tears for his salvation and the Holy Spirit touched him. He started crying. I felt the Holy Spirit urging me to preach about Lot's getting out of Sodom. I mentioned the fact that his sons-in-law used to see everything as a joke and that either life or death depended upon their attitude and decision. Thinking it was all a joke, they chose death. At the end of the sermon, I spoke boldly to Elvis. I told him "God wants to save you from your sins because the wages of sin is death. And He wants to give you eternal life in Christ. Do you think this is a joke? Both him and his wife were touched. She burst into tears and knelt in the middle of the room. Elvis, with tears in his eyes, said he would also like to follow the Lord. We all rejoiced over God's victory in their lives. Praise Him!

We had a similar joy in Rosiori as well when two people came to know Christ as their Savior. There names were Vasile M. (53 years old) and Ion B. (29 years old). Ion's wife used to attend our church five years ago, but when she married Ion, she no longer came. Now her husband has become a Christian.  Please pray for her that God will work in her heart again. Her name is Mihaela and she is 25.
