This month we had an evangelistic outreach in Fieni on October 6-7. The missionaries from Oltenia county and Marian J. from Pitulicea came to help us. There were eight of us. We planned to reach out to Fieni and another locality, Moroieni village. There are around 5000 inhabitants. This locality is spread out at the foot of a hill. Our purpose is to plant a church there in future. We went to each house and talked to those who were in their courtyards. We left an evangelistic package in each front gate and gave out brochures, CDs with testimonies and documentary and an invitation to church.

Both days we went to Moroieni in the morning. We came back to Fieni in the afternoon and talked to people. The missionaries were encouraged as they had very good discussions and many people promised they would come to church. On the first Sunday we saw around five non-believers come to church. Now we are trying to followup with those who are open for the Lord.

Another part of my time was devoted to pastoral ministry. During the week I continued to have fellowship with the believers and those who come regularly to church. This time is wonderful for me. Seeing them conforming to the Lord's image is very fulfilling.

I am glad that the Lord brings new people into the believer's group in Fieni. The fact that the true Gospel is preached in our church is a real blessing.

In November we want to organize an evangelistic service each Sunday. I have started creating my sermons in powerpoint. I am happy to have Ovidiu help me. He started to come to church a few months ago. I take advantage of these meetings to tell him about the Lord.
