On the 11th of October I delivered a sermon in Vurpar village on the symbols in the Lord's Supper. On this occasion I gave the Lord's Supper to the people of the church.

I delivered five messages sermons from the epistle of James in Sion Church in Sibiu. I tried to emphasize the applications of the Word for solving conflict in the church. I noticed that their scars have started to heal. They elected men from both sides for their new board. Also the attendance is higher. I also noticed that my Bible studies brought fruit in the church. The church started to reinvigorate. Please continue to pray for this church.

On the first of October I had a Bible study in the afternoon in Bethany Church in Sibiu. The subject was on Live a Life of Prayer (James 5:13-20). I emphasized the practical aspects. I appreciated that they listened to me carefully. The feedback was good. To live the Word is their decision.

On October 18 I preached on the subject Who is Jesus Christ? from Matthew 14:22-33. The main idea was to really know who Jesus Christ is. This knowledge is different than the general or superficial knowledge. I believe the Word had an impact on the listeners. I expect to see improvements in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Sunday School Teachers College

I printed and distributed the books for the Bible study program at the Sunday School Teachers College for 2009-2010,   The Student's Book and The Teacher's Book.

On October 16-17 I attended the Sunday School Teachers conference in Bucharest.
I presented a discourse entitled The Cycle of Bible Learning, the structure of a Bible lesson
and several demonstrative Bible lessons. I also distributed The Student's Book and explained how it must be used. I believe it was a successful conference because the teachers showed a real interest in it. I hope they will be more efficient in children's ministry.

As a principal I prepared the annual conference for the Sunday School teachers from Sibiu. The conference took place on October 31. I urged the teachers to pray and presented the discourse The Cycle of the Bible Learning. I shared, explained and distributed The Student's Book and The Teacher's Book for 2009-2010. There were teachers from 14 churches in Alba, Brasov, Mures, Sibiu, Valcea counties. The purpose of this conference was the edification and training of the teachers. I hope they will be more efficient in the children ministry that God has given them.
