By God's grace this month was full of blessed events. We celebrated Thanksgiving in the church. We also organized an evangelistic outreach and the entire church got involved. I invited a group of missionaries. Then we had a baptism and three peopl,e were baptized. Let me present an overview of these events.

Thanksgiving

As usual, the church was crowded because the people invited their friends. We use to decorate the church with fruits and vegetables. I urged the members to bring fruit from their harvest as a sign of gratitude to God. Therefore, they brought six bags of fruits and vegetables. The Holy Spirit touched my heart and I shared with the church that it would be best to give the bags to the orphans. We know a family whose mother died of cancer and they have four children. The oldest child is in second grade and their father is discouraged because of this tragedy. The church was happy to help. My wife and I and another family from the church went to that family. The children were crying for their mother. My heart melted when the youngest daughter came into my arms and kissed me for bringing them food. We prayed that God would take care of them. Now we thank God that this family is coming to church. Please pray that God will take care of them.

Evangelism

Along with a group of men from the church and other missionaries we went out on the streets of our village. We visited those who were open to the Word of God. Since the weather was so bad we went out on the streets for just a few hours. We spent the rest of the time in people's homes. We invited them to a service that evening. Please pray for all those who heard the Word of God for the first time.

Baptism

By God's grace we organized a baptism for the last Sunday of October. Three people confessed their faith in Jesus Christ. The church was crowded from the many guests who came. The church is always touched when a soul is baptized and confesses his faith. Please pray for those who were baptized. One of them is Drescanu C.,  who is 32. His wife has prayed for him for years. He was always against believers. Everytime I visited them he didn't want to listen to me and one evening God touched him. Please pray for him and his family.

God performed a miracle in Mate C.'s life. After he received the Lord he gave up smoking and drinking alcohol. I am amazed by his love for God. He lives in another village which is 45 kilometers away. Please pray for him and his family.

Nela who is 24 comes from a village about 15 kilometers away. Please pray for her as her family is against her and forbids her from coming to church.
