I was in the United States at the beginning of the month of March. I went to Houston to visit a church and some dear friends that assist me with my tuition at Southern Seminary for the Masters program. I spent about a week with the family and church. While I was there, we did some planning for the upcoming trip in June. A large group from the church will be coming to Romania to work in a few of the missions in Pucioasa, Magura and Fieni that are supported by HeartCry. While in Houston, I was invited to preach on the first Sunday of the month. My message was on the need of recovering a biblical view of God's holiness.

I flew back to Romania on March 2 and spent a few days in Bucharest. While in Buchrest I visited with our Gypsy missionaries, Florin, our Romanian coordinator, and Dany and Cristi, my two disciples, who are also involved in some areas with HeartCry. It was good to reconnect with them and hear the latest news about their ministry. We also did some planing for the upcoming months.

After leaving Bucharest I went to Rimnicu Sarat to spend a few more days with a missionary couple. We visited a few families and had a meeting over the weekend. After I preached on Sunday morning, I drove back to Bucharest to be with my church (Holy Trinity Baptist Church) on Sunday night.

The next two weeks of March were a real blessing for me. I went on vacation to Israel with Cosmin, my brother-in-law. This was my second trip to Israel. This time, I wanted to spend more time visiting biblical sights and other mission points in Israel.

Antony S. led us to many places in Jerusalem, Judeea, Galilee, and the Negev desert. While traveling we visited churches in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Kiriat-Gat where I had the opportunity to preach the Word of God. What a great blessing it was to meet our dear brothers and missionaries that spread the Gospel in Israel!

One of the most special events took place in Tel Aviv when we went witnessing on the streets. There was a Friday night when the Jewish Sabbath started. Many workers from different countries are free on Friday night. There was a section of the city where thousands of workers from Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe are out on the streets. We set up a table with Bibles and literature in different languages and engaged people in discussions. We distributed hundreds of Bibles, Christian books, DVDs and CDs. What a powerful work of God!

The second part of March had been designated to lead a mission team that came to work with an orphanage in Romania. I have been with them for about 15 days. We focused on working with the children from Dorca House in Prilipet. There were about 25 children in this orphanage where I use to go once a year to help this ministry and teach. We worked every day with them. Our ministry consisted of having meetings, teaching and playing, taking them to dinner, and spending consistent time with them.

Since I am from the area, I was invited to preach in a couple of churches. It was a fruitful time both in working with the children and churches. I had a meeting with the pastors and missionaries from the area in which we discussed the vision they have and how we could help them. God's work is moving well in Romania. Continue to pray!
