I spent the end of April through May 8 in the hospital. However, God used my time in the hospital to enable me to talk to women in my ward who had never heard the Gospel before. There was one women in particular who was almost ready to give birth. This lady was very poor. As a matter of fact, she was so poor that she was in great need. So Mark and I bought her some food and gave some money. We wanted her to understand these gifts were from Jesus ( not us ) who loves her. We talked much and I discovered she could not read but was willing to listen to God's word. When I left the hospital we returned and gave her more food and she was very overjoyed and amazed at this. But again we made sure that she understood that those gifts were given in the Lord's name. We plan to visit this women named Ioana in the village Tia Mare which is close to Corabia which is where we hope to plant a new church. Please pray for her and her family that God will continue to touch her heart and that the Lord will help us with this new church. Mark and I are still trying to set up the Association for Older People. Recently, we almost had our first client but after overcoming so many barriers the elderly mothers finally said no to our service. But we haven't given up on this case yet. Please pray for this work that the Lord will change hearts and minds. I am planing new ideas for my work with the children and hope to put them into action very soon. Please continue to pray for these children and their families who are not saved. Mark and I are preparing the front garden with flowers and the laying of a lawn for the children to one day play on. Hopefully, some time this summer. Also, I am preparing to do Bible studies with the women. This needs your prayers too. As soon as time and money permit we plan to travel to Bulgaria to register 'Joy' our mini bus. Please pray that all will be well for this and that the Lord will provide for this need.
