Some of the people from the church underwent some trials. I wanted to help them both through prayer and encouraging visits. A lady from the church was diagnosed with breast cancer. The news shook her. It was a test of her faith. I can say that she made it through this test. After several examinations she had an operation. It proved out to be an easy one. Now, sister Oana is very encouraged and happy. Another family (the Rizescus) have started to come to church this month. I began to pray for them and wanted to talk to them. The wife, Carmen, had turned to the Lord a few years ago in another church. The problem is that she didn't grow spiritually and didn't assimilate systematically the scriptural teachings. One of the problems that I want to correct is their church attendance. They usually come every other Sunday. I also want to begin a bible study with them for their spiritual growth. We continued finish the roof of the church. Although we worked quickly while the men from Houston were here, many things remained unfinished. We called in some wood specialists to help with the construction and together we managed to finish the roof. We still have to fix the sheet metal. We are upset that it rained lately and the water infiltrated the church. Street Evangelism We continued the evangelism project on the streets this month too. We went out on the streets of Fieni and the surrounding villages. It is a joy that the Lord strengthens us to be faithful in this project. We have entered new relationships each week as we have sown faithfully the seed of the Gospel. We have gone a few times in Badeni and found a park where the youth usually gather. For some weeks now we have gone there and preached the Word of God. During our last visit we had a discussion with two young boys that were open and accepted what we were telling them. We hope these boys will keep their hearts open and be saved.
