Lately I have seen that several ministries from our church are united.  The purpose of knowing the Lord and declaring Him is coming together. I was glad to help the young people practice their biblical principles in the children's ministry and in the worship time. During study meetings they were trained to live according to biblical principles. This month I had personal meetings with eight young people. It was a time when I found it difficult to organize group meetings. I made the best of the situation and managed to meet separately with some of them. The purpose was to study and to discuss their specific problems. I was able to help Pavel with his English. Pavel is 17 and he turned to the Lord two years ago. I used this opportunity to observe and to discuss other aspects of his struggles. I am going through a Bible study with Alina and I challenged her to find a disciple so she could practise what she learned. I believe that the worship and fellowship are balanced by ministry, evangelism and discipleship. I also have continued to counsel two young couples who were preparing for marriage. It is a very important period in their lives. I taught them how to use their time for the glory of Christ and their spiritual growth. I was glad to stand by Gheorghe and Aliona in the process of preparing their wedding. I tried to help them with suggestions and prayed for their non-Christian parents to go along with a Christian wedding. I rejoiced to see maturity in their thinking. They agreed to do things differently where it was necessary. On the other hand I worked for the unity of the group. I organized short trips and other activities. This month a group of young people from the U.S. visited us for different ministry projects. I used this opportunity to organize a fellowship meeting. I believe their testimonies were helpful. They talked about their ministry in Africa. Then I organized some short trips for recreation and fellowship. I continued teaching in schools after our break. I kept in touch with the young people to see how they were living so I could maintain a bridge between me and them. I teach about venereal diseases, especially AIDS. Although the teachers don't allow me to proclaim the Gospel during the classes, I am able to talk with the students during the brake. I challenge them to live a holy life with high standards. When it is possible I tell them about Christ. Some of them already know that I am a pastor so I use this opportunity to share the Gospel. The church continues to learn verses by heart. I would call this activity "verses picking". I challenged another young man to memorize some verses with me. I wanted to memorize those verses that challenged us to grow spiritually. I also disciple him and challenge him to have his own disciples. This month I challenge more young people to become "producers", not just "consumers".
