We had a pretty full month as we had a prayer and fasting weekend on May13 -14. Several young people from our churches from the South were challenged to participate. I must admit that nothing compares to the blessing of being in His presence. Before working for God, He expects us to worship Him. And this is what we wanted to do. I asked several pastors and leaders to help and we all felt challenged to want more of God's direction in all aspects. Previously, we used to have around 20 to 30 young people come. God moved on their hearts and now we  have more than 80 people. There is something in particular that touched my heart during this time. One of the young men that came was a little down. I approached him and I found out he had been married for two years but now the divorce was imminent in their lives. He also suffered from epilepsy. All these problems made him really desperate. Even though he studied the Bible, he did not know the Lord personally. It was his work colleague who had invited him to come to this event. When he left, he said his problem was still there, but God touched his heart and gave him peace. Pray that he will know the Lord personally and also for his family to be saved. His name is Alexandru.

Another event was a mass evangelistic outreach. Several churches participated in this activity.
We went from house to house through the whole town. We wanted all the people to receive a brochure and some even heard the gospel. I teamed with two other people from our church and we covered an entire neighborhood. We had no idea what to expect behind the doors. It has been a challenge. We spent 3 hours knocking on people's doors as we went up and down the stairs. But we were happy to know that many people had the opportunity to hear about the Lord. The first people we talked to were a little reluctant, one gentleman got pretty mad, while another lady didn't like the fact that we rang the bell and woke her child up. I think there was only a couple of people who seemed more aggressive, most of them were happy to receive the brochure. We handed out around 500 brochures and probably talked to about 100 of them. This neighborhood has been reached once again as we did something similar two years ago. We visited the neighborhood on a weekly basis several months in a row. I thought to myself that these people would either hate us for our persistence or love us. I think both attitudes can be found in the Bible, the important thing is for us to preach the gospel.

During these events I continue to work with the youth and give them counsel. I also continue to keep in touch with others over the internet. I have had several encounters with the people who live here. I am meeting with Paul tomorrow who needs spiritual support. I keep praying for him and also for Vasea and Cornel.
