Last month I was sharing with you about my cousin Olesea and her family. We all thought she would get better because there were a few visible results. But when she had her second medical treatment from the psychiatrist and gynecologist, it no longer worked. She would not stay home and kept asking for her passport and cell phone every day. The last days of April were very tough for me. There were times when she seemed to be more reasonable, but she was aggressive and used a lot of foul language other times.

We would also share the same room and I could not read my Bible in peace. She would ask the same questions every five minutes. Thank God the weather got warmer and I moved to another room. I could read my Bible and she could read it too. The first day, she read the chapters I had recommended for her and told me what she had read. But the second day, she would only want to eat. She then managed to read the Bible every day but her mental issue was still there.

When Olesea left, my house became quiet all of a sudden and I thought about inviting my friends over for some tea. I cooked something and had guests three days in a row. I felt very happy to have them visiting me. People had noticed that I was sad as they could see it on my face. Although I tried to be strong, I couldn't manage to hide it. But things started to change and they say I already look happy.

After Olesea left, I could go back to working with the children and the women which I missed. I attended a few classes about women discipleship. We studied about love, call, forgiveness and freedom. After the experience with Olesea, these classes were exactly what I needed. I thanked God for His provision. Beginning this year, I have had such a hunger for God, to know more about Him. I eventually received answers to some of my questions. I now feel free as I've been set free and have peace. I have grown to a different level of knowing God. When I first became a Christian, all I wanted was to be a normal, simple Christian. I now understand that to know Him more means to go through more things. I am actually going through a health problem and I still ask "why". Although I had some allergies for eight years, God has healed me. But God decided to send me another disease. Even so, God is the same.

I was happy to work with the mission OM.  I shared about what I did with others. We were supposed to talk for 30 minutes, but I talked for 2 hours. I told them about the ministry and our challenges but I mostly emphasized that God was in control and that we could have victory, peace, love and freedom through Him. It's been a wonderful time and I could share who God was in my life.

This month I also had the opportunity to witness to other people. They were reluctant at the beginning but I have prayed to get to meet with them again. They live in a different village.

The children and I continue to memorize Bible verses. The ones who memorized the most were very happy when they received gifts. They all learned the verses this month and I had to go buy gifts for each one.

We continue to have our meetings with the ladies. There is this young lady, Saha, who is not a Christian, but she comes to our meetings. She is 16. Pray for her because she lives a life without God.

I have recently watched a CD with testimonies of several Christians who suffered from different diseases. I was very touched. We sometimes want to live a life without diseases and suffering but in order to be with God, we have to be like Him, to know who He really is.
