The Project for Children from Dysfunctional Families

I spent most of the month working with the Day center for children. That was the last month when we worked with this project and I had the opportunity to coordinate it for a few weeks. This ministry has been a blessing for many children because many of them have had the opportunity to memorize Bible verses, learn to say grace before having lunch and meet the faith heroes through cartoons. I also had the opportunity to personally make friends with them. The children expressed their desire for this project to go on during the following school year too. God will decide in this respect.

The English Classes

We finished the English course this month. We had a graduation party at the end of the course. We had it during the youth service. Our guest was a student from the US. She came on a mission trip and spent a week here. We had two young ladies that were not Christians with us (I wrote about them in my previous reports). They were pretty active during our time together.  I was really happy to see them come to the morning service on Sunday. They came to the Bible study meeting on Wednesday. God really used the English course to touch the lives of some people and Lord willing, we'll start it again in the fall.

The Youth Ministry
Towards the end of the month, we organized the last youth meeting before fall. We'll have them again starting in September. On this occasion, we had a special fellowship time and had a few high school graduates who were going to college in the fall. Our pastor, Igor Seremet had a special message, full of counsel and advice for the young people. There are many tests and trials ahead of them, but we know God will be with them wherever they decide to go.

God deserves all the glory, praise and honor for the ministry He does in Anenii Noi!
