We have many students that attend our English classes who are unbelievers. They can see and hear the testimony of our teachers and other fellow Christian students. Not long ago, one of our teachers started a discussion about the human soul and the gospel. It was a profitable time for a 25-year old student, Eugen.

Silvia, another teacher, makes sure to provide Christian brochures for all 40 students. On the 25th of November we'll have an English party where everything will be English and in English such as the greetings, songs, food, games and the gospel presentation. Of course, everything will also be translated into Romanian. We'll have around 75 students at this event. During November 13-14 we had a seminary for families. It was entitled "How to Get Over the Crisis". Twenty two families attended. They all heard that a crisis is meant to help people identify conflicts and their benefits and to get to know themselves and others better. A time of crisis is a time to get to know God and to be challenged to find solutions. Even if we are not the guilty party in a conflict, we have to take responsibilities too. This implies great maturity that is required in churches and families. Finding a solution to a crisis is demanding and we have to decide what price we're willing to pay for it.

We all had lunch together at our church both on Saturday and Sunday. Each one brought some food and we had a good time together.

On November 12, 16, 18 and 19, I spent time talking with four people that were going to be baptized. Each meeting helped them to understand God's Word and ministry better. I taught them how to present their personal testimony being inspired by Acts 22.

On November 21 we had our 26th baptism service at our church. Four people were baptized, Oleg (22), Mihai (21), Liuda (33) and Maria (54). There are people coming to our church every day. They want to find out what we do or to talk to somebody. After a brief talk we invite them to come in and we share the gospel with them. Cristina is a young woman who first showed up at our church one afternoon. She came to ask us to pray for her father to quit smoking. She knew no one from our church. I invited her in and shared the gospel with her. I challenged her to give her life to Christ, but she said she needed time. We prayed for her father to be free from that particular sin. I gave her a Bible and explained to her how to read it. I told her I would be very happy to find out one day that she gave her life to Christ.

THE  TESTIMONIES OF THE  FOUR  PEOPE  WHO  WERE  BAPTIZED

Liuda

"I turned to God when I got sick. A lady from the church kept telling me about the Lord and she never stopped praying for my healing. When I got healed, my husband saw God's power in that and he became pretty receptive. I look forward to seeing him say yes to God." Both her daughter and husband, Alexandru, came to support her and be there for her on this special and happy occasion.

Maria (54)

"I grew up in Christian family and knew many things about Jesus. But I drifted apart when I married a non-Christian. I never stopped having the feeling that I had rejected God. But now I made the decision to draw close to Him again. I am here today and want to show it publicly that I want to be His child. I know He has forgiven me and my desire is for my children to turn to Him too."

Mihai (21)

I grew up in a Christian family, but in spite of that, I felt that no sermon could touch my heart. I was able to go to a camp with children with physical disabilities. The personal testimony of one of them totally overwhelmed me. I was so convicted in my heart and realized how hardened my heart had been for so many times. God had mercy on me. I am His child and I want to follow Him.

Oleg

I am a student who came to know Christ when I heard the gospel preached through New Life ministry. Vitalie is the one who knew how to approach me as he had patience with me and lived a Christian life. I was challenged to know more about the Lord and the work of the Holy Spirit. I discovered that my life was all about fleshly desires. After giving my life to God, Jesus has been teaching me how to live according to the Spirit.
