November is usually the busiest month for the sport's ministry. Ten of our sportsmen participated in a contest in Poland. Seven other people had trained for this contest in order to enhance their technical level. The main purpose of the whole event was for them to draw closer to God. This is actually the objective of every contest. It gives us the opportunity to spend time with the sportsmen in the presence of God, praying and making intercession. And they witnessed Christ working in the lives of people who prayed. Gheorghe R. was personally impressed. When we left for Poland, we were had more in the car than we should have, eleven 11 people instead of 9. We actually had planned to ride in two cars, but some made up their mind because they also had to come with their share of money. God watched over us miraculously and we had no problem with the police or anything. Our driver was an Orthodox man and when we left, he paid no attention when we prayed. However, on our way there, we talked and shared the gospel with him, although he was pretty resistant to anything other than the Orthodox beliefs. We also had some interesting experiences on our way and witnessed God's hand at work. When we had to leave to go back home, I invited them to pray. The driver actually supported me as he closed his eyes and said a loud amen. Even the sportsmen saw how God could change the heart of a man who didn't know Christ. The Holy Spirit turned a heart of stone into a heart of flesh. They changed their attitude in showing a greater maturity in their relationship with God and also towards the sport.

Gheorghe R. is my new disciple in martial arts and also a group leader. He got a little discouraged when problems relating to the place where they met came up. I had a talk with him and we prayed. I then taught him how he could get over problems. Prayer won't necessarily make problems disappear, but it brings solutions, and sometimes it makes them go away. Our problems are not our own. They can ruin our ministry if not approached correctly. A solution to the problem of the place as to where to meet was found and he is already better.
