God is great and does things according to His will. Last month we had the usual activities such as the youth meetings, English lessons, and the social project with the children. Besides these activities I also participated in a conference for preachers and ministers. We studied the beatitudes in Matthew 5. We were blessed and motivated to be happy according to Jesus' teaching. We also had a table tennis contest. Non-Christian young people from two other villages participated in this activity. At the end they had the opportunity to hear a message and we urged them to seek the Lord and fight the good fight of faith. The message was delivered by the guest speaker.

God gave me the opportunity to visit a family where the mother was raising her son by herself. The little one is part of the social project. This family usually rents a place for the two of them but due to the lack of money to cover the expenses, they had to move in with an older couple. While talking to the lady, she told me about their material needs. I told her about God's help that could be found at any time. I invited her to come to the Sunday church service. I hope she will come.

God also gave the opportunity to preach the gospel during the English lessons. There are two non-Christian girls that attend it and we want to share the truth about God with them. One of their assignments was to translate into English the 10 commandments. When we had the following lesson, we read the commandments from the Bible and translated them together. That facilitated the connection between the commandments and Jesus' sacrifice. Then we translated together John 3:16. I am glad I can take advantage of these English classes in order to preach the gospel.

We've had special blessings lately in the youth ministry. The young people expressed their desire to be active during out time together. The young men take turns and have a short testimony in front of everybody. The girls always prepare games. The fellowship time afterwards was better as we became better friends. I pray that God will help us to grow in holiness. Pray that God will increase their interest in spiritual things.

God deserves all the glory for everything that happens in Anenii Noi!
