We had VBS for kids. Eight people from our church helped working with love and passion. We had around 50 kids during these 4 days. We taught them about love, faithfulness, forgiveness and the place that God was preparing for His children in heaven. They heard encouraging evangelistic messages and some of them accepted Christ.

The VBS was held in our church which motivated the kids to pay more attention to the Word of God. We had several groups both for the Bible lessons and other activities. That way we managed to interact well with the kids. During those four days the kids memorized a Bible verse each day and I was very happy to see them reciting the Word of God, even the 5-year olds. We thank God for this opportunity to plant the seed of His word. We'll be faithfully looking forward to the fruit in their lives.
The parents showed their gratitude for the way we had worked with their kids. The mother of two of them thanked us by saying "no one has ever treated my kids so well".

Before the VBS I challenged and motivated the other leaders to spend time with the kids and show them the love of our Lord. I pray that this love will win them for Christ.

There are times when we become friends with the parents. A short while ago, we invited the mother of a child to come over and have lunch with us. She has recently been born-again. We had a wonderful fellowship time together. Our prayer for this lady and for all the other parents is for them to have the light of the Lord. We also pray to have new opportunities to get in touch with others and build new relationships.

We are going to keep in touch with the kids who come to the VBS. We'll tell them about our club that starts in September.

Some of the kids from our club have had the opportunity to go on to a camp somewhere outside our town. I was happy to visit them there during one of those days. I could see how the Lord was working in their hearts. Mihaela told me she gave her life to Christ. The time spent there was very encouraging for her and it helped her grow spiritually.  Another girl confessed the same thing.

We have started to work with the preschoolers this month. Their parents help us have a time for them too when they can learn from the Word of God in a creative manner. So far, we've had 11 kids and the group continues to grow.
