During June 5 - 6 we celebrated the tenth anniversary of our church. It was God' grace that chose me to plant this church and to be part of its growing process. Over our 24 baptismal services, 70 people were baptized. After 10 years there are 91 members. During these years there were also people who came to know Christ here and stayed with us for a while, but afterward they left. If they had all stayed we would have around 200 people.

But our church is also a transitional place for many so we're happy to be able to help people for a few years. Some leave for different places where they can minister to others.

Several people from our church shared testimonies about what our church meant to them.
Here are a few:

NATASA P., who is 26 years old said,  "I came to know the Lord here and I grew up in the faith. I am now leading others to Him."

PETRU & OLGA N. shared, "We were welcomed here with love by Anatol and Nadia. It is in this place where God taught me to be humble, patient and rely on Him. I thank pastor Anatol and Gelu for their faithfulness to preach the Word to us. I learned to understand His word through this church."

SILVIA P., who is 29 years old, said, "I found love and affection here. People helped me and I learned to help others. There are people I can share and pray with here."

RUSLAN G. testified, "Emanuel Church is at the crossroads. Spiritually speaking, this church has been a crossroads for me too. I got married here and I have ministered here."

Over June 20 - 24 we had 115 kids for VBS. The kids were taught with love and care by seven people from our church and a team from the States for three days. 95% of the kids were not from Christian families. We believe that their families were also impacted by this ministry.

As usual every Tuesday we go out in teams of two and do street evangelism. We did the same during the week of June 20-24 with the people from the U.S.  More than 460 tracts were given out and the Gospel was shared with 90 people.t
I am counseling two couples that are going to get married. We'll have 15 sessions. I have send them some of the lessons over the Internet in which they have to write down the answers. After that we get together and talk.
