We got together with the kids every week. During one of our meetings, we played a game with questions from what they had learned here. We were happy to have many kids such as Felicia, Sergiu and two other girls who were there for the first time. The hardest thing was to keep them quiet. This is one more reason why we need other leaders for the ministry. We have been praying for this. We taught the kids a lesson that was meant to challenge them to be bold to tell others the Gospel. We even shared one method that they could use with their friends. I pray that God will strengthen and use them as His missionaries.
On July 20-24 we had VBS in which a team from the U.S. helped. We had around 120 kids and some of their parents. The children learned about such parables of Jesus as the parable of the sower, of the lost sheep and the prodigal son. We prayed, and we're still praying, that His word will bear fruit in their lives. The weather was such a blessing and an answer to our prayer.  Although it was a little chilly, it didn't rain during our programs. We thank God for that.

Mine and the others' duty as leaders, was to get to know the children and befriend them. We managed to get their phone numbers so that we can invite them to our Bible club.

On Wednesday night during the week we invited the parents of the children to come to church and see what they had prepared. They heard about what had been going on during the VBS and their testimonies changed lives. Every parent received a Bible as a gift from our church. They also heard the Gospel preached by our pastor, Anatol. The parents said they had a good time and that they had felt far away from the daily problems of life.

The kids were all excited about VBS and wanted it to continue for more days. We are praying for other opportunities.  All of them were invited to come to our Bible club every Saturday.

We felt that the parents were very open to allow their children to come to our church so they could hear His word.

A lady that was with her child that night told us they had read from the Bible that day and could hardly stop. We believe and pray that the Word will bring fruit in their life.

We thank God for the part He gives us so that we can enlarge His kingdom.
