We thank everyone who prayed for the ladies meetings in our church. A few months ago, I had no idea how to start them, who would come and what it would be like. But we realize now that it all starts with a desire, a vision, questions, prayer and then action. We were blessed by these meetings. We can learn about the women in the Bible, who they were, what the went through, their relationship with God and their families.

Every time God has something encouraging for us. Then we also have more relaxed meetings when we share recipes, talk about raising children and other practical things. We are grateful that God gives us a thought and then He makes it happen.

We were blessed to have a group of people from Romania who spent almost two weeks with us. They helped us with the ministry here. They would have visitations in the morning, work with the kids and they had special programs in the church in the evening. During this time we visited unbelievers. Some were open to hear the Gospel. Many are frustrated because of the political situation in our country. We shared with them Scriptures about that and then told them about Jesus' sacrifice for our sins. They would eventually agree. They all lived hard lives and it is still difficult for them at this age. But we tell them what God can offer them if they accept Him.

We visited a lady whose husband had died 6 months ago. When we got there, we were simply speechless. She was in a terrible situation and there was an awful stench in the room. She had burned her leg with hot water and she kept crying. As we were trying to talk to her, she kept mourning for her deceased husband. We shared the Gospel and one girl from Romania started to pray for her. She prayed for the woman to be freed from the death spirit. I could barely breath as a heavy oppression could be felt. Eventually, the woman got better and she thanked us as we walked out. I don't know how I managed to hug her. Had I been told where I was going, I probably couldn't have. But when you let Jesus take the lead, everything changes. I shared with my friends all this.

We visited an old man who had been bed ridden for 24 years, he no longer had his legs. Right next to his bed there were some sticks that he used to help him get what he wanted, a book, a glass, the remote. But I was very impressed to see that he knew many Bible verses and that he was a child of God. He said he was content with his life and we could see that on his face. We felt very much encouraged by the visit.

The youth from Romania attended the youth meeting. They motivated our young people to pray more and to go on mission trips. We felt blessed and challenged. Every person looked peaceful and full of God's joy. They were all very special and had a wonderful relationship with the Lord. When they left, we got busy with getting the papers for Romania so that we could come to the conference. God helped us and we made it. These days have been like heaven on earth for me. I really wanted to be in a place like that with God. It was very beautiful. Whenever we had a break, I would go out and enjoy the landscape while talking to my Father. Everything has been wonderful .... the location, the sessions. It's been a great privilege to spend such a time in that place. Thank you Lord!

After the conference in Romania, I attended a conference for women, The topic was The Treasure of a Woman's Heart. Those lessons touched the hearts of many women. They talked mainly about the book of Ruth, the relationship of two women and God.

God has spoken to me in many ways lately. There is a time when we only have questions but there also comes a time when we get answers. God is such a gentle God Who works with patience, care and love. I am grateful to have the honor of being his daughter, though I don't deserve it, but He chose me before time.
