May has been one of the most eventful and blessed months. Last month we started to get ready for the tests and the sportsmen became more interested in studying the Bible so they would pass the tests. As a result. we had good feed-back during the Bible study meetings as they had many additional questions. They became more aware of what they had to do. We approached topics such as who is saved and who can be saved? How can I be filled with the Spirit? How can you tell others about God?.

These topics generated many discussions. There are two grown-ups in our group. One of them is Mr. Miron. He is very diligent and always wants to see if he is doing good. That helps him be more receptive to God's Word.

When we got together with all the trainers we talked about the test preparations and the summer camps. I told him that if we were not spiritually prepared, neither would the children be able to understand their need to receive Christ. They felt challenged to seek Christ more and be more devoted to Him. On Saturdays we get together to talk about that. We'll be doing that until the summer camps over June 26 -July 3.

We had the county contest on May 22 and had good results. Six people were on the second place and six on the third place.

I wanted the sportsmen to see and feel God all throughout the events this month. He is the one who can give them strength to live the way they should. I did that whenever I led the Bible study meetings or when they had questions for me.

Coach Nicolae F. went to the States. He'll be there to work for three months. One of his sportsmen and I took over the lead for his group. The boy who I'll be working with is pretty good at sports, but I want him to have a good spiritual life too. It is an opportunity to help him with that this summer.
