I have continued the counseling sessions with the young people from our church. I am happy to see how they grow in their faith. In my previous report I was telling you about a student who has been growing in the Lord. She is doing better in regard to her relationships with her parents and her college mates. Even though she has had some difficult times in her life, the biblical perspective helped her get over some relationship barriers and live free in Christ. She came to this understanding while studying the Word with us and we are happy to help her as a family.

I still work with Cristi, a teenager that I am friends with that I help with his English. Our friendship is getting stronger. Whenever possible, we invite him over to our place. It makes him want to see his whole family saved. His mother is actually a Christian, but his father is not. As a church, we do our best to help his family in many ways. I think that even the time I spend with Cristi will help his family be a part of Christ's big family. I've been there for this family on a few occasions.

For instance, they asked me once to go visit and pray for Cristi's grandmother who was in the hospital. When I got there, I shared the gospel with all the people that were in that room. His grandmother gave her life to Christ that very day. Our desire is to continue visit this family and we pray that God will work in Cristi's father's heart.

Cornel is in the process of discipleship and this month he has learned how to share his faith and personal testimony. We work together so that he can grow in faith and be involved in evangelism, discipleship and ministry. He started a Bible study with his college mate last month. It's a study we had been through to help him grow. That helps him lead it and guide someone else in  taking the first steps in getting to know Christ. It hasn't been easy for him as he actually had his struggles, but I believe God blesses our faithfulness in small things and will guide us to greater ones. We are learning that together.

We have had both joys and disappointments. Igor is a young man I was telling you about in my previous reports. I had shared the gospel with him and he had been responsive to it, being willing to pray and study the Bible together. But when he got back from Turkey, his friends and family told him not to come to church anymore and so he got discouraged. The sad thing is that it hasn't been a Muslim country that did that to him, but the freedom here made him choose the broad way. We're still praying for him and we believe it's all in God's plan. The same thing happened to his friend Sergiu.

As a youth ministry, we managed to have two smaller meetings when we prayed and looked for guidance so that we can serve better. We live in times that there is a gap between generations where we find it a little more difficult to work with the youth. We do everything it takes to keep the unity among them. On the other hand, we realize what grace we have to be able to talk personally to most of them about specific needs. Both Anatol and I, invest our time in them and we know the fruit will consist in their growth.

I've been invited to have a message about Easter. That was an event organized by Campus Crusade for Christ ministry. As a youth pastor for the southern part of our country, I've been involved in the administrative organization of the Easter concert for youth. Around 100 people from this part of the country were invited to bring their non-Christian friends. It's been an opportunity for them to hear the gospel.
