March 8 was Woman's Day and was a special opportunity to share the Gospel with people. That was also a day-off for students. Therefore, along with the youth, we made greeting cards and went downtown and gave them to the ladies we met. The cards had also an invitation to our church services and contact information.

We pray that God will work through these cards as well. After that, we went to the hospital and visited a lady from our church. We congratulated her and the other ladies in the room on the special occasion. We also gave them a card and flowers along with some Bible tracts. The pastor stayed a little longer to pray with them. The rest of us visited other ladies in the hospital and gave them flowers and tracts.

On this occasion, both the kids from our church and the ones from the day center had prepared a special program of songs and poetry. At the end of the church service each woman received a flower and a craft made by the children.

The youth had a surprise right when we were about to go to a community youth meeting. We had everything put together but when we woke up that day, it had snowed enough to keep us from going. We look forward to the following meeting in the summer. Hopefully we will not face any other obstacles.

The following are the events that were supposed to edify us spiritually:

During one of our youth meetings, I explained what the Gospel really meant in opposition to other religions' concepts about salvation. I showed them the supremacy of the Gospel and its truthfulness speaking about the love and justice of God. Some of them understood more clearly what the Gospel really was.

Another special event was a prayer night we had for the countries of the world. We had invited three people from Youth for Christ and they gave us the prayer requests. We also had people form the neighboring village who came. The Youth For Christ people put a map of the world on the wall and pictures from other countries where not many people had heard the Gospel. We split up in four groups and each group went in front of each picture and pray for that specific country. We had a prayer time like we have never had before here in Anenii Noi. The youth prayed that God would show His mercy on our county and other countries around the world. We had an amazing time because we could make intercession for those people before God. We didn't even know how fast the two hours flew by. And they also got over the obstacle that the prayer service was nothing but a boring waste of time. We prayed specifically and hoped that God will answer our prayers in those places. We can say what the disciples once said, "Lord, teach us to pray" because prayer is oftened neglected because not many people know how to pray. Praise God for giving us this quality prayer time!

We had the opportunity to visit the children that come to our day center. We brought them food and other useful things. We shared the gospel with them and explained what had really happened the first Easter. God blessed us in spending a few hours with the children's families. Some of the people had previously heard about salvation, but they still live in sin. Most of the people we shared the gospel with were responsive and asked us to visit them again. They also promised they would come to our church services. We hope and pray that God will
work in their hearts and they'll surrender their lives to Him.

It is a great joy to work where God works and to be used according to His plan.
