We think it is extremely important to meet with the whole team once a week in order to plan, to have fellowship, to talk and pray. Our challenge from the Lord is usually the sermon we hear on Sundays in church. We take notes and try to apply it to our daily life. Ever since I started to take notes from the Sunday sermons, I've realized I could remember it even three weeks later. Moreover, I've been more responsible for applying it to my life. Actually, that is what God wants from us.  I thank God that my team took the challenge to take notes and pray to live the Word in our lives. These meetings are mostly for discipleship and preparation for the ministry.

As leaders for the kids, we have to make sure we walk in the light, guiding and setting examples for them. We also keep up with memorizing Bible verses. Each leader is responsible for a group of kids and we've seen the results. We built relationships with them and they are anxious to see us. While working on the sketches for the team contest, we managed to get to know each other better. We realize how important our relationship with them is so we want to invest more in them. In order to do that we use different methods of communication: text messaging, phone calls, discussions with their parents (if they're willing), Skype, messenger, and email. We also pray for them so that our prayer can support them when we're not around. And it works. Our relationships with the kids are getting stronger and stronger, they seem to be very fond of our club activities. They have the opportunity to hear God's Word every week and also to give their lives to Christ.

Another girl, Gabi, joined the seven girls in my group this month. I managed to get to know them better by talking to them during the week and trying to give them responsibilities within the club program. This way they're motivated and they like it. These past weeks, I gave some responsibilities to Cristina and Mihaela. They did very well.  This is how they learn to help others. I met Mihalea on a few occasions and we rehearsed a song together so that we could sing it in church. That encouraged her come to the Sunday church service.

I got together with my group this month and we played tennis and made a cake. On this occasion, the girls brought two more friends along. We had a wonderful time.

The girls usually tell their parents about what we do and they are thrilled. One of the mothers told me that she was pleased with what we had taught them. Her daughter even made that cake when she got home. The parents of the kids that we work with are mostly unbelievers, but we are thankful that they're open and allow their children to come and learn about God's Word.

Working with the children in my group gave me the opportunity to get to know their parents as well. When I call the children, sometimes the parents answer the phone and it's a good time to talk to them. We ask their permission regarding some activities we want their children to attend. We also keep them posted about what we do. I am grateful to the Lord for the parents' attitude. I've met some of them in person. I pray that God will give me wisdom to build good relationships with them. The other people involved in the kids ministry shared similar situations when they communicated with the parents.

As a team, we decided to have a fasting and prayer day once a month. We want to walk according to our Savior's model. As far as we are concerned, we want to invest all our talents He has entrusted us with.

Gabi, Dana, Dima, Andreea, Alina, Oxana are the kids who have come to our club for the first time lately. They were invited by their friends. Our prayer is for them to be drawn to Christ.

The lessons we teach to the kids are evangelistic and help them grow in faith. These are some of the lessons we have taught these weeks: God is Always with His Children and God is Patient.  I have also taught them things from Elijah's walk with the Lord. Our prayer is for the Word to bear fruit in their lives.
