It's important to evaluate yourself at the end of a year. Regarding the sportsmen, I have the opportunity to give them a test at the end of the year. Therefore we had the exam on December 12. Everyone passed it. We asked them how they could make wise decisions in their lives. We also asked them about the good and bad examples from the Bible. They did well, but I wish they would apply these things in their lives too. One of the most important characters was David. Some of David's actions were an example and from others we should only learn the lesson. The sportsmen learned how they should act when they make mistakes.

Before the exam I had a class with all the sportsmen. I delivered a fifteen minute message from John 3:18. I explained to them the meaning of genuine faith and why it would take any man into Christ's presence for eternity.

Researchers conclude that most believers made the decision to follow Christ during their childhood. I meditated upon this fact and wondered why the sportsmen were open to attend the Bible lessons, but there was no transformation in their lives. Many times I wondered why this was happening. I talked with other believers too. I understood that this fact didn't depend on me. But I expected to see some results from my investment. I still have hope. I know that the Lord will perform the transformations in his own time.
