In the month of December we were blessed with many evangelistic activities. Regarding the children ministry, we started to have a special time with them. Each of them has his own book. They read a lesson for a few minutes, then they answer the questions at the end of each Bible lesson. After that, we discuss about what they read. They love this activity and it is easier to keep them quiet. We are happy to have the books both Romanian and Russian. I saw how God work in their parents of the children who are in the day center. We started the Sunday School during the Sunday service. The kids from the Sunday School started to prepare for Christmas. We wanted the children from the day center to participate in that Christmas program as well. The pastor's wife proposed that the children should come to prepare along with the church's kids on Sunday. It was a good idea. The children started to come to church on Sunday. One of the girls in the project comes every time with her parents or her grandmother. When she had to come on Sunday for rehearsal, her parents accompanied her again. Then they attended the church service also. They have continued to come until Christmas and afterward. May God work on their hearts and give them salvation. Also, many of the kids from the project came with their parents at the Lord's birth celebration. It was a great joy for us. This past month we were able to give out gifts from Samaritan's Purse in three schools. The kids were very grateful for the gifts. While we were giving them out we talked to the children and told them about the greatest gift that God gave us: the child born in Bethlehem, the Lord Jesus. In addition to the gifts each child received a book about the greatest gift. We were grateful that the principals allowed us to give out gifts. The form masters heard the good news as well. God blessed through this event too. Regarding the youth ministry, I had several meetings with the young people to prepare for the Christmas program. We met almost each day to rehearse the carols and drama play. The holiday program was great. After that we went caroling in the town. We visited many non-Christian families who welcomed us, although only a few people celebrate Christmas in our town on December 25. Only one family refused us, saying that they weren't celebrating. The rest of them welcomed and even urged us to carol among their neighbors too. Along with the young people and a few families from the church we gathered on December 31 to celebrate on new year's eve. Our pastor had a message from the Word of God. We had different biblical activities, games, and Bible contest. Our fellowship lasted until 6 a.m. Although we were very tired, we were grateful for the new year. It was a busy and blessed month. We want to organize many activities for the glory of God each month.
