On November 12, fifty students and I organized an evangelism night for the unbelievers in the program. On November 26 we conducted a tennis championship for the youth of the church and those outside of it.  We had a funeral and evangelization in light of Sister Elena's husband, aged 53, who died. I had visited him in May and preached the Gospel to him. We prayed together to receive Christ in his life. He also visited the church a few times. I preached the Gospel at his funeral where there were about 50 unbelievers. When I asked the people what they thought of the funeral service, they said that there was a clear and concise message shared.

I counseled Sergiu who is 22 years old. I led him to the Lord last summer and then led him through the process of spiritual growth and discipleship. He is involved in street evangelism ministry that we have at church. He will be sharing his personal testimony in the church. I am helping him writing it out.

Street Evangelism in Neighborhoods

I had the great joy of seeing a family come to our church that I had invited. They invited their mother to come to the following service. Three of them have already been baptized this year. Feodora received Christ in the spring and was baptized in the summer. She invited her son and her future daughter-in-law to come to church and they gave their lives to Christ. They got baptized and then were married.

Testimonies of the People Who Were Baptized

Alina, age 18

I was born in a Christian family. I grew up asking my mother why we were like that. I had a feeling of guilt that I couldn't get rid of. When the pastor asked me why I had not been baptized, I said I was not ready because I still made mistakes. He explained that the baptism was not the testimony of never making mistakes but one who had accepted the Lord.

Pavel, age 18

I came to church having been invited by the drama team. They told me they needed me to play a part. That is how I started to attend the church services. I've done that for a long time without being touched by the message of the Gospel. But, one time, when pastor Anatol preached, the Holy Spirit touched my life and gave me a new direction. I used to tell bad jokes but now I do my best to have a clean conscience. I no longer let myself say bad words. My life has changed and it has a new meaning. My parents accepted my decision to get baptized so I am about to make this step.

Victor and Silvia, husband and wife

We first came to church when we were invited by mother. We gave our lives to God on the 7th of May in a Bible study. We had premarital counseling which helped us in our marriage. Even though we used to believe in God, we have lived without him up to the age of 30. We thank Him for changing our lives and giving us a new direction.
