Regarding the ministry of counseling, I got in touch with Tania. She is a girl from our church who received Christ and was baptized last year. After a long absence from church and ministry, I talked to her. We are thankful to God for her responsiveness for repenteance and spiritual growth. We are also praying for other young people in our church that although they have different backgrounds, they will come and be involved in the church.

Along the same topic of counseling I talk to Slavic, a young man who is in a dating relationship with a girl. I want to see how their relationship evolves in a good direction. We are praying they'll find a good time to make things clear regarding their relationship.

I've been teaching English classes for a few weeks. During that time I have been working in particular with a teenager that's part of the Kids' club in Olga's program. There are a few people who are at the beginning of their teen years and feel the need of a special ministry. I not only teach Cristi E., but I also talk about many things related to faith and growth in the Lord. People his age desperately look for models. We are glad he has a very close relatonship with his mother who's a Christian. He prays for his father and wants him to know the Lord so that his own family could be like us. We are aware that his friends at his age can be a temptation.  We pray we can serve him best.

The evangelism ministry in different neighborhoods around the church has been back on the good track for two weeks. Anatol and I gave out tracts and shared the gospel with aproximately 20 people. Many of them were students and were coming from school.

This week I've been with Cornel, a young man from our church, who I wanted to encourage in evangelism. Even though he only gave out tracts, he was around me and witnessed how I shared the gospel with 15-20 people. We had another oppoprtunity to share the gospel and encourage the people from our church to serve.

We finished our semester of English class and used the opportunity to invite both Christians and non-Christian students to a special night called the "English Party". We threw the party also for our teacher who had helped us for three months. We prayed for continuity and for sister Silvia, that she would use her abilities in God's service.

As a pastor of the leaders of the Baptist churches in the southern part of our country, I managed to organize two major events. One of them was the mission conference where we worked with Youth with a Mission from Medias, Romania. Our purpose was to motivate our youth for missions and to keep reaching more places where the people are receptive.  This is what we did two years ago in the village of Filipeni where there is no evangelical church. The second event was a Bible contest on the Gospel of John. Around 80-90 young people from 10 churches took part in the contest. They were all challenged to cherish God's Word. I've been aware of the great impact that the contest has upon the youth and I prayed it would be a challenge for them to "hide the Word in their hearts". They've already asked us for information on the contest and topic.
