We continued the children's project with ten children. Most of them have undergone a transformation. They greet us when they arrive, listen to the Word of God, and pray before lunch. There were some children who came for the first time. They were glad to spend time with the other kids. They enjoy eating hot meals, doing their homework, and sharing how their day went at school. We have to be patient and listen to them carefully. They also asked us questions. We want to help meet their needs through the project.

We continued the women's project. We pray, read the Bible, and sing. Through this outreach the women get closer to one another as we share our personal prayer requests and trials. I had a great blessing. I had been making the announcement of whoever wanted to be involved in the church ministries to let me know. After a while one young lady came to me and said that she wanted to help. I was so happy. Our pastor told me to look for a person. I was thinking that everyone was too busy in school or work. But although this young lady was a student, she helped us after her classes. Now I have a disciple that I can be an example before. She and I visit the older ladies. After the first visit she said that she wanted to read something from the Bible next time. I was encouraged and happy.

At the end of October we had a conference for the leaders which addressed the subject of How To Be a Counselor. There were twenty five people present. I was in charge of the finances and food. Although their were only two of us in the kitchen at first, the Lord provided various volunteers each day to help. It was a blessed conference. We could listen to the messages because the men put a speaker in the kitchen.

We had guests from our youth meeting in Tantareni village.  The sermon surprized me as the pastor shared a message on eagles from the Bible. I thanked him for his message as I learned some new things that I could take with me each day.  Among these things were learning to fly with God as the eagle does, to focus on Jesus as the eagle focuses on the sun, and to be victorious over everything.
