The Lord blessed His ministry in Anenii Noi last month. The project for the children from needy families continued as normal. I had the privilege to minister to these children. They usually feel alone. One day a child came crying to the church and I asked him why he was crying. He told me that his friends from school turned their back on him and didn't want to talk to him anymore. I told him that we were his friends and we would never turn our back on him. The other children from the project encouraged him. They told him that they had also experienced the same situation, but after a while, their friends came back. We want to help these children to feel accepted and loved.

This month I also looked for new children. I went to the city hall and asked for a list of the needy children. They sent me to the local schools and I got a list. They told me not to mention that I received the list from them, because then they would be verbally attacked by the loggerheads with the Orthodox church. Although I visited several families from that list, the parents didn't allow their children to come to our project because they were doing their homework after school. We are continuing to look for other children and believe that God will direct us to children who need help.

During the Friday evening youth meetings we learned about the principles of success according to God's Word. One Friday we were visited by the youth from a neighboring village and had great fellowship. We hope to organize other meetings with the youth from other neighboring villages.

An important event that took place at the end of the month was the conference for pastors and leaders. We invited them from the neighboring villages. We spent four days studying spiritual counselling and Old Testament's history. They were interesting subjects. It was a blessing that God gave us the opportunity to work for His glory and that He continued to teach us how to do it.
