This month we started the children's club again. Our first meeting was evangelistic. The children learned how Saul had turned to the Lord. The key verse that the children memorized was "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?". They learned that it was more important to be saved and to have Christ. We invited the children who attended our summer day camps to this meeting.

There were some children who came for the first time to our club. We pray that the Lord will continue to work in their hearts. Mihaela and Nicu are brother and sister. They come regularly to the club. Mihaela received the Lord Jesus. She wants to memorize the Word of God. We pray that the Lord will continue to work in her heart.

The subject of our second meeting was forgiveness. The purpose was for the children to learn to forgive as the Lord had forgiven them. They memorized the verse "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." We encourage the children to stop carrying the luggage of anger. Each of them had the opportunity to write down the situations they hadn't forgiven. Then they asked forgiveness from God for them.

Our third meeting was the Fruits Celebration. We thanked the Lord for the fruits. The children learned to thank the Lord for all things, even the unpleasant ones. They learned that God allows the unpleasant situations in their lives for teaching them patience, love, peace, etc. Each child wrote a letter to God to thank Him. Some of them thanked Him for the forgiveness that they received in Jesus. Others thanked Him for their parents and the Word of God.

We started a set of lessons on the church in our last meeting. We want to teach the children what is the church and the importance of going to church. The new children who came to this meeting were Iuliana and Nicolae. They were invited by a girl, Valerica. The Lord has worked in Valerica's heart. This is her second year in the children's club. She invites her friends all the time. Last year we had to remind her about our meetings. Now this isn't necessary anymore. She is very eager to learn the Word of God.

Each week I meet with the serving team: Alina, Irina, Maricica. We discuss different problems regarding the children and ways for serving them better. Being their leader I asked them about their spiritual life. Each meeting one of them must share a special thought from the Lord. We then have a time of prayer. The purpose is for all of us to understand and share the responsibility that God gave us for serving the children. I am aware that besides the children ministry the members of the serving teams are my disciples too.

We also decided to attend the prayer time of the church once a month. One of us brings the prayer requests for the children. The church will support this ministry in prayer.

Maricica who is almost 14 is the new member of our team and the youngest. Last year she was one of the children who attended the club. I praise the Lord for the attributes that He gave her. She works very conscientiously in everything that we entrust her with. I personally take care of her and am now helping her to write down her testimony. We had a special fellowship and she confessed to me how God had changed her life. I pray that God will work in her life and will give me wisdom in helping her grow spiritually.

Irina, a member of our team took over the preschool group. This month she had the first meeting with them. For now these meetings will take place just once a month. We pray that the Lord will bring new volunteers for the preschool group.
