At the end of July a team from the USA visited us. At first only a lady and a man came, then three more people. The lady had been a hairdresser for 40 years and the man, Charles, was a biology teacher. They came for four weeks. I was wondering what we were going to do with two old people. Honestly, I had some doubts and discontentment considering it was just two people. But they served in a way that others hadn't. They made visits each day. Leslie was cutting people's hair and sharing about her country and family. They were so enthusiastic. Charles visited a lot of men and gave them gifts. He also helped with the construction of the church. I saw two people working passionately day by day. I announced to everyone that we were going to visit them. One time we went to visit two old women that lived together. When we arrived, we found one lady outside lying on the ground. We helped her inside, but she couldn't walk anymore. She was so scared. We don't know how long she had been laying in the courtyard. I was also afraid for her, but the pastor's wife took the lead. In the evening we brought them a hot meal. We also visited other poor people, who didn't have food and clothes and lived in misery. Each family received a food package. We also visited old people from the project. They were so excited about how Leslie came to our country. We went in the surrounding villages to visit some members of our church and non-believers too. Jenea, the lady from the old people's project who got baptized at home in her bath tub died. It was both a sad and joyful moment. She was very sick. We had prayed that the Lord would take her home. She wanted a Christian burial, but her relatives didn't. It is a great joy that she was the Lord's child. Soon we will have a baptismal service for an old lady from the project. She is learning the basic doctrines. The summer was full of work and blessings. We enjoyed all the guests who came our way.
