My wife had emergency surgery this month. We had the opportunity to talk to many ladies who suffered from the same problem as my wife. At the hospital there were two ladies in my wife's room. We had the opportunity to be a testimony of the living Gospel for them. One of the ladies had three children and her husband left her. She had to ask her sisters for help. She saw how I helped my wife and I didn't despise or leave her. I was taking care of her as my own body. The lady was so amazed by the way we behaved as Christians.

We also had a discussion with an orthodox priest who was asking people to confess. When he started to talk to my wife I was at the hospital. He already told her that she was lost when I arrived. I told him that he was only speaking religious words that had no reality. I asked him, "Where are the orthodox husbands of the ladies who need help after surgery? I am here because the Bible teaches me to love and cherish my wife as a gift from God. I don't want to blame anybody, I just want to show you a tragic reality of the orthodox church. I believe your parishioners don't live the Word of God because they don't know it."

I also had many opportunities to talk to other sick ladies. It was a great joy for us to be living testimonies for Christ.

At the end of the month I had the meeting with the coaches for planning and preparing the new year. We also had an evaluation time and I was happy to hear that they read the Scripture and had fellowship with the Lord each day. They still need grace for perseverance in praying and reading the Scripture each day.
