This month I continued the premarital counseling meetings with Gheorghe and Aliona, and Slavic and Lena. I also continued to meet with Alina. I helped her to grow spiritually and to rededicate to the ministry. I continued to help Pavel to learn English. Also, we discussed and evaluated different problems that he was facing at school. I realized that the counselling process was actually an opportunity for discipleship. Therefore I discussed with Gheorghe and Aliona that their marriage and their present relationship was connected with their relationships with the church and the ministry. Thus we discovered together that they still had to work on that. I discovered that they hadn't developed evangelism in their lives. So I decided to involve them in street evangelism. This is a project of our church. We focus on 12 regions of our city. Each leader has the responsibility to take other members with him. The purpose is to help them grow spiritually. It is a great opportunity for our church, because we tell people about our new address and program. We actually want to share the Gospel with those who are ready to listen to us. This month I shared the Gospel with around 20 people and I gave out approximately 40 brochures. The subject of my discussions with Slavic and Lena was their behavior so that they would honor the Lord. I helped them to unburden their hearts of some former situations that had blocked blessings in their future. I helped Alina to see her need of spiritual growth. She also started to take an interest in others. She has already completed a Bible study with her cousin and will begin another with one of her colleagues. Pavel and I discovered the cause of some of his problems. He was having problems in his relationships with his teachers or schoolmates. The cause was a wrong thinking pattern that produced a wrong pattern of behavior. Although his behavior was apparently innocent, still it was not biblical. I explained to him that everything that was non-biblical was a favorable place for the devil to sow his bad seeds. This month we organized the youth camp for June 5-11. I organized some meetings with the leaders. We had already had one. Lately God is guiding me to preach on prayer for myself and the church. I had two messages on prayer entitled God's Instrument for Measuring Our Spirituality.
