As a pastor and leader, sometimes I face very difficult times regarding the problems in the church. Sometimes they make me very tired solving those problems. Some problems I can solve, but some I cannot and that affects the feeling of those people. However, I am still thanking God when I look to other members who are faithful and continue to walk in their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I have seen their faith are grow by not going to pagoda, fortune tellers, gambling, etc. This proves that they really have turned away from their old lives. God is using those things to encourage me to continue to serve Him without giving up as a leader for His Kingdom. The joy that I have with members who are remaining faithful and growing in their faith in the Lord covers my difficulties with other members. I praise God for my calling. I am also happy to see some who came to me asking more about God, life, and prayer after my teaching.
Prayer Requests: 1. Pray for the growth of the church and the maturity in faith. 2. Pray for the good health and jobs. 3. Pray that God blessings upon children in our community.

There is a man in our church who told me that he always had a dream of his mother. She always told him to stop believing in Jesus because since he gave his life to Jesus she has had a very difficult life in hell. This kind of thing happens sometimes in the lives of new believers, especially those who were very strong in the Buddhist/Hindu faith. However, it takes some time to pray and study the word of God until they trust fully in the Lordship of Jesus Christ in to their lives. Please continue to pray for this man and also for wisdom from God for me as I am dealing with this spiritual warfare.
Prayer Requests: 1. Pray for daily needs of our members. 2. Pray for the faithfulness to the Lord to all of us. 3. Pray for the breaking of a stronghold of Satan in our community.

In this month we started a new small group. It began with three members. All of them have their own families so we are also praying to reach out to their family members, as well. I also had the opportunity to share the Good News to university students who are staying with us in the church dormitory. It has been several months since they started to stay with us and I keep telling them about Jesus and on 23 February, two of them decided to pray to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. I have so much joy in the Lord to see them have new lives in Christ. Every week I also encourage some students to go on and seek God more in their lives; they are wanting to give up their study because of difficulty in supporting themselves. Most of the students who stay with us are from the province and have poor families. Sister Vanna who just gave birth to a baby girl is doing fine; so is the baby. I thank God for her life and that the church was able to take care of her in the small way we can to love our Lord to her.

In this New Year 2011, I want to focus on the regeneration topic to my church members. I want them to know clearly that they are saved and live a holy life to the Lord Jesus Christ alone. This month we have been through many lessons and I always ask the adults and also young people to respond to the teaching. I am happy to hear a very positive response from them. I am encouraged to see the growing faith of my members though teaching the Word.
Here is one testimony from sister Thavy, our church member: “This year I have a better life than last year. My life it seems to see more light through Bible study that I have learned day by day. I understood how to live and what it is to be a good Christian. I learned more how to worship and serve God. I am trying to study His words harder and harder in this year so that I can know Him more in my life. I want to see my children some day be worship leaders in our church. Pastor, please teach and pray for them.”
Prayer Requests: 1. Pray for the growth of the church and the maturity in faith. 2. Pray for good health and jobs. 3. Pray that God's blessings be upon children in our community.

This months I am mostly do the same as my regular activities. I have visited to my church members. Although, their living condition were really very difficult because they have to work from morning to evening and earn very little income to provide to their family needs.
For two times per month I went to mentor two pastors at Shalom Mongrusey and Okombot.
Prayer Requests: 1. Pray for daily needs of our members. 2. Pray for the faithfulness to the Lord to all of us.
