Gospel, Gospel and more Gospel... Thinking about the children, this month, God guided us to put together a small theatre piece for them called "Creation." Its aim is to teach kids and parents that there is only one Creator to whom we owe our lives and that we were created to worship Him. We will have different stages of scenery showing day-by-day all that God created. The role of the animals will be played by the children. We already have a dinosaur, a dog, a duck, a cow, a piglet, and a chick. Bless our God for the opportunities there are to share the Gospel with Latin Americans and Japanese here in Tokyo! This last month a Peruvian family Toshinori, Alicia, Yoshi and their baby started to visit. Also, a Cuban lady and a Japanese lady named Michiko and her son Lentaro visited. They are listening to the Gospel constantly in our services. We ask for your prayers for them that they might know God's love and give their lives to their Creator. Kanto Baptist Church has a ministry called Wordwise, where English is taught to Japanese ladies. At the end of each class there is teaching from the Bible and they sing worship songs. Last Friday Luis lead worship but also was able to share the message and preach the Gospel. He prepared it with slides and it was translated into Japanese so as to have the most clarity possible. Please pray for these ladies that along with learning English they might learn who their Creator is and that they might surrender their lives to our Saviour. Michiko san and Lentaro kun are a Japanese lady and her son who have been visiting the service at our church, Vida Nueva, for three months now. This is possible because each service is translated into Japanese from Spanish. Last week Michiko san was asking more about God and specifically how to pray. So Luis prepared a small study to search the Bible and fill in the blanks about who God is. Michiko surprised us by filling it all out the same day at the end of the service. This led us to pray about starting a Bible study with materials in Japanese, where we chronologically teach the basics of Christianity in Japanese. This is necessary because in this society one never hears about the idea of there being only one God; no one knows about Adam and Eve, about Mary and Joseph, or Jesus. There is no understanding of the meaning of sin or salvation.
