Nicanor and Rocio are a Peruvian couple who were expecting their third son. Some weeks ago, Rocio was hospitalized because of the risk of a premature labour. Nicanor had to continue working, so their children came to live at our home until Rocio could come back from the hospital. After some waiting and a lot of uncertainty, Diego was born at 7 months and praise the Lord that he is not at risk, but being observed waiting for his vital signs to completely stabilize. God blessed us with the challenge of having our son Lorien being premature, too, so all the struggles and challenges that we lived helped us give counsel and advice to our brother and sister. Please continue praying for Diego's normal development, specifically for his breathing to stabilize.
Alicia is a Peruvian lady that we invited one year ago for an evangelistic event. She never came back, but last month she came and shared that God was showing her her sin and that this sin was going to destroy her and her family. We shared the Gospel message with her and now she is coming every Sunday to the services and asking for prayer so God can also change and save her husband and sons. Please pray so God's mercy transforms Alicia and she starts living a life of holiness and worship to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luis has been studying Japanese at a local language school these past six months. He has now come to the end of the current course. He is looking into continuing next year. We thank God for the strength He gave Luis during this time and the direction in balancing family, pastoring, and studying.
To God be the glory, from Luis and Nicola
