Praise God for our second son Lorien's development. Just a couple of days ago we passed his actual due date almost two months after he was born and it was a real opportunity to thank God for all that He has done in strengthening Lorien. We also praise God because during this time of trial God spoke many things to us. Lorien is now home with us after more than six weeks in the hospital.God convicted a young man, Akira, about the lack of evidence of His conversion. Together we prayed and talked for weeks. We also talked with his parents and it was hard for them to realize that their son who had been attending church for 10 years and was baptized was crying for help and for the mercy of God for salvation.
These past two months we have held services once a month in Japanese, English and Spanish called "Happy Mornings!" and they will be a regular service on the last Sunday of each month. It is to these services that we especially invite non-Christian friends and people we are sharing the Gospel with. Luis has preached on the nature of our hearts without God (Ezekiel 36) and on the infallibility of the Bible.
